Bruschetta al Pomodoro
A classic bruschetta al pomodoro made with toasted bread, fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil. Bright, seasonal, and built on a few high-quality ingredients.

- 4 fresh plum tomatoes
- 5 basil leaves
- 6 slices crusty bread (½ inch thick)
- 4 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Wash tomatoes and cut them in half, removing the seeds and cutting into ½ inch cubes.
Smash each garlic clove with the flat side of your knife to crack the skin, then remove the peel.
Wash the basil leaves and dry well. Tear them into small pieces by hand.
Grill the bread on both sides.
Remove bread from the grill and immediately rub the garlic over one side.
Spread tomato, then basil.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
End with a drizzle of olive oil and serve.
